Today with the help of some very generous neighbors I managed to get my double slipper cast iron tub safely into the living room. It is made in Portugal, weighs in at 425 lbs and is a nice and thick porcelain clad cast iron. It has a 14” water depth and sits on a all metal base. Now after sitting in the crate in the garage for just over two years, it is sure nice to see it in all its glory. Now I just need to make room in the bathroom for it to fit. Oh, and how fitting is this Portuguese model in a Portuguese tub, huh?
