I am currently re-certifying my Emergency Medical Technician certification(EMT). I have been a EMT since 2001, and have seen more things than people would care to in their lives. During my early years, I was so nervous and unsure of myself. To be a good EMT you cant just know the basics that are taught in class. You must be able to avoid tunnel vision or becoming overwhelmed by the situation. This mentality I believe only can come from age, wisdom, and experience.
