Friends

Friendship is a interesting thing. Think about the way that you became friends: you sat next to each other in math class; asked for a little milk from your neibor; became a co-worker; a hobbie; and by way of a friend. Friendship is a form of a relationship. You usually go through a lot together. You make each other laugh, angry, mad, cry, and even crazy. You sometimes see each other all the time and then may even go great lenghts of time apart. Some times it ends in a bad way and never speak to each other agian. But the coolest and most common thing about friendship is that no matter what happens you are always refered to as a friend. So remember that no matter what you do to each other; you are still friends and friends are the next best thing to family.

New Computer

Ah the beauty of blue water. This is why Morgan has waited so long to have this tub in her house. It is long enough to lay in as well as having a 14” water depth. But lurking beyond what the eye can see is a leak. Yes this beautiful bath leaks. But it is not the baths fault, but the plumber who installed it. So yet another phone call to make to get him back out here to fix it. Thank God it is under warranty and the fix will be free. Yet more waiting for the soak.

Sunday sunflower again

Did you know that the sunflower is the most popular flower to be grown in a homeowner’s garden in the US? Well according to some data, this is true. Thankfully I am not a part of this statistic. This sunflower is a donation from a friendly neighborhood bird. Now I am just waiting for the seeds to come!

Week five

As the bag enters into the second month I am reminded of how long a month can feel. With temperatures still averaging 62’F-98.5’F with a high of 100’F, the bag is now definitely showing signs of wear. The bag has not weakened any but the colors are defiantly fading away. May the journey continue.

Is this a polyphosphate filter

That is a question for you to ask. But do you know what is inside your filter? I don’t expect you to cut open your brand new filter to find out but remember that there are different filters for different reasons. So make sure you do your homework before you put one in to make sure it is filtering what you want, ie: taste, rust/grit, chlorine… These filters were removed from a friend’s house today. The one on the left is from her insta-hot and the other is from her refrigerator inline in her copper line.

Mud Dauber

This Mud Dauber lived in our porch. Today on my way to Home Depot, I walked out to find him flying around. I had a notepad in hand and used it to swat him against the window and into a daddy long leg web. Being dazed, he gave the time needed for the spider to sprint out and subdue it and weave it into a tasty morsel. Then the spider drug its dinner to the corner to eat in peace. Yet another good deed done.
